Chapter 26

When I wake up, it’s still dark outside and I’m melting under the weight of Jason’s arm draped over me. I ease his arm off of me and climb out of bed to take off my pants and change my shirt to cool down.

“Where are you going?” Jason mumbles.

“Just to change my clothes. I’m drenched in sweat. Go back to sleep.” I climb back into bed and drift back to sleep in his arms. It’s already 10:00 when we finally both wake up.

“I’m gonna have to go soon. I have some work to get done. But first,” he says as he trails his fingers over my collarbone.

“What are you doing?”

“I figured this would be a good way to start the day.” He softly palms my breast.

“Jason, after last night—”

“Lizzy, I need you,” he cuts me off. “You’re the only thing keeping me sane right now.”

Before I can say anything else, he silences me with a gentle kiss. The room is still dark with the help of my blackout curtains, but I can still see Jason’s eyes smoldering with desire.

“What do you want from me, Lizzy?”

The plain and simple truth is that I just want him, but I’m not about to say that just yet. So I say the next best thing that comes to my mind.

“Something to make up for not getting to be with you last night.”

“I see,” he says, reaching under my shirt as he continues to knead my breasts.

“And then maybe something to make up for not getting to go to dinner with you?” I suggest, as he pulls the hem of my shirt up over my head.

“Anything else I can provide for you?” Before I can answer, he crashes his mouth into mine, cutting off my thoughts, but I quickly pull back after noting I have horrible morning breath.

“Baby, I don’t give a shit about your morning breath—not when I’m about to taste that sweet pussy of yours.” Jesus, he has a dirty mouth.

He continues to palm my breasts, rolling my nipple between his thumb and forefinger before giving it a gentle tug. I arch my back to encourage him to continue down this path of pleasure.

“I’m tempted to make you come like this, but I want to taste you,” Jason smirks.

I can feel the pressure building between my legs, and I’m in desperate need of the sweet release that only he can give me. He hooks his fingers in my panties, slides them down, and discards them on the floor. Kneeling on the bed, he lifts my leg and begins kissing the inside of my calf. He trails his tongue up to my lower thigh to give it the same attention before continuing his journey up my body. He’s so deliciously close to my apex; I’ve turned into an inferno at the rate my blood is boiling, and I can feel his breath inhaling every inch of my body.

“You’re so intoxicating, Elizabeth. Slide to the edge of the bed for me.” The sound of my full name on his lips is almost enough to bring my undoing.
